I let go of Adam's hand and stood there, looking at Sierra and Hayden flirt. I swallowed hard and felt like running away. I turned around and sniffed, looking down. Adam took my hand again and held it firmly. He tilted my head slowly, and gazed into my eyes. I bit my bottom lip and frowned. I blinked my eyes rapidly to prevent myself from crying and gave Adam a fake smile assuring him that I was fine. Adam sighed, "Do you wanna go?" he said. I shrugged. I didn't know what to do, either to go away or stay.
"Hey! What are you guys doing? Come sit down." Hayden called us, patting the empty seat next to him and winked at me. I was unsure of what to do, whether to go away or just forget about my jealousy and sit down next to him. I looked at Adam and shook my head; I wanted to go. Adam gave me a faint smile and asked me to go outside and wait for him. I did what he said and I watched Adam sauntered towards the table where Sierra and Hayden were sitting. Adam whispered something in Sierra's ear and she took his hand, not wanting him to leave. I watched them hold hands and Adam kissed her cheeks. As Adam got outside, I saw him mouth at Sierra, 'Sorry'.
"Thanks." I said sheepishly looking away.
"What for?" he gave me that lopsided smirk.
"Always putting up with me," I joked.
"It's okay. I always knew I had to take care of you."
"Not funny. But, still, thanks. I don't know-"
"Why you were jealous?" he continued my sentence for me. I nodded fiddling with my fingers. He smiled and took my hand, gently. "Come on. Let's go somewhere to take your mind off of this whole jealousy thing."
We strolled towards the shopping mall and as we approach, the automatic door slide open. I crossed my arm and looked around my surrrounding. Many people walked in and out of the different shops with paper bags on their arm. The air conditioner inside the mall was cool and chilled, it made me feel calm. I folded my arms against my chest to prevent myself from getting cold. Adam was walking right next to me, I heard girls murmured, 'Oh my God, he is so hot!' 'Is that his girlfriend? Awh!' I just looked at them and gave a faint smile. I walked with my head down, and Adam took my hand and our fingers linked. I looked down impetuously and gulped. My hands started to sweat and I pulled my shirt down with my free hand. He grinned and push his hair clear of his eyes. "Come on!" he said, pulling me and ran.
