We reached at Starbucks and saw Hayden and Sierra already waiting for us. Suddenly, my lip quiver and my palms started to sweat. I was nervous, so nervous. Adam nod at Hayden; the 'what's up nod' kind of thing. I pulled Adam's shirt from behind ,
"What?" he said.
"I-I'm nervous,"
Adam laughed, "why? It's like you've never seen and/or talk to him before," shrugging off of me. I look down and stomped my feet. I look up and grinned pulling Adam and marched towards them. Hayden looked so hot in his black plain t-shirt. With his spiky gelled up hair and eyebrow piercing. I noticed Sierra waving enthusiastically at Adam. He did the half smirk that made girls always drool over. Sierra was wearing a black hot pants with a white v-neck shirt. Her hair tight up in a bun and she was wearing a thick eyeliner and mascara. Her lips was rosy red and her white cheeks were red. She was blushing as Adam strolled towards her. I stood there next to him and Hayden raised his eyebrows and gave me a sexy smirk. I could feel my cheeks redden and I bit my lip.
"New piercing?" I asked him about the eyebrow pierce and broke the silence between us four.
"Why? You like it?"
"It's nice," I said trying not to sound desperate or the whole, 'it looks really hot on you' and started hyperventilate. Usually I would talk about how I feel to Mandy and she would just pretend that she cares and just giggle with me. As awkward as this was, I felt butterflies in my stomach. Sierra broke the awkwardness gesturing me, Hayden and Adam into the coffee shop. Adam put his arm around Sierra's neck and she linked her fingers with his. Me and Hayden watched them from behind. This felt even more awkward for me and him. They both giggled in front of us. I fold my arms and walked slowly letting the lovebirds go ahead. Hayden noticed me slowing down so he just smiled.
"Look at them," he said with his hand in his back pocket of his black skinny jeans. I just nodded and didn't say a word. He search for my eyes and sighed, "Is everything okay?" Hayden asked, concerned.
"I'm fine," I said, smiling.
"You sure? You look a bit upset."
Trying to find the right words to reply him, careful not to get lost in those green eyes. "Uh, yeah, sure I am. Why wouldn't I be?" I replied trying not to sound sarcastic. He made a 'hmm' noise and to my surprise, he put his arm around me and I could feel his warm breath on my neck. My palm was sweating, my heartbeat fastened. I felt butterflies in my stomach and my pale cheeks redden. I bit my lip and he whispered, "I like you Jade. I always have liked you, I just never had the guts to tell you." My eyes widened and I looked at him, both of us standing in the middle of the shop. Low murmur of people's voices filled the atmosphere and I swallowed my saliva hard. Hayden weakened me with his sexy smile and I was lost in his deep, blue-green eyes.

If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
