The cool air brushed against our faces. Adam took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh summer air. "God, you're heavy," he mumbled softly but I heard him. I smiled and he continued to walk. Neither of us know what the time was.

"You want me to get off your back?" I asked him, smiling.
"What? No, no. You're so light. Like a little nut!" he replied. I chuckled, "Okay then," I said. He continued to walk with me behind his back. I squeezed my arm tighter around his neck, hoping that I didn't choked him.
"Jade, I've got something to tell you," he said.
"Yeah, what is it?" I rest my head on my arms.
"I don't know how to tell you this but I do really want you to know about it," he sounded so serious and shy at the same time. I lifted my head and whispered in his ear
"You can tell me anything. Anything at all."
We reached at Mandy's house and I slide down from his back. Adam stretched his body and turned around to see if I was okay.
"Oh, is that why? And hey! I'll get taller!" I shouted back at him. Adam's height is around 6'2 and I was just around his shoulder. I was the smallest amongst Mandy and him. Maybe the nickname little nut suits me well.
I raised my left brow up as he turned around to face me.

"I'm fine, thanks," I said. He half smirked, which oddly enough, I was attracted to. I walked, to the door and rang the doorbell. My knee doesn't hurt anymore. I put my hands on my waist waiting for Mandy to come and open the door. I tapped my foot rapidly. I was impatient. "Wanna know why I call you little nut?" Adam sneaked behind me and whispered in my ear. I could feel his warm breath brushed against my ear. His head was on my shoulder and I jumped. "Ow. Don't sneak up on me like that!" I said and slapped his arm.
"Yeah, sure. Why do you always call me that?" I said curiously. He grinned at me,
"Because you are a complete nutter! And you're smaller and shorter than me!" he laughed and flipped his hair out of his eyes.

"I guess everyone's gonna start calling me that now?" I asked him.
"No! That's my nickname for you. No one else can call you that except for me," he snapped back. I scoffed, "Okay, calm down." I looked at my watch to see the time, 2.40 p.m.
"Mandy!" I called out. Adam walked to the window panes, and put his forehead against the glass window.
"Well, her living room is a sty but seems like no one's home," he told me.
I raised my left brow up as he turned around to face me.
"Should we go somewhere then?" I asked him.
"I mean, it's still early and I really don't wanna go home yet. If you want to." He smiled and walked towards me.
"Shall we then?"
