Loneliness is about a girl who is in her teenage years, in senior year high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, America. Jenny, the main character in this story is not like any other adolescent. She is quiet, shy, invisible and lonely. No one in school notices her and the only people whom she claim to love the most are her dad and her step mom. She talks about her life and how it changes when she grew closer to a handsome, talented young man named Freddie. Freddie is quite the opposite her; he is well known in school and have many friends and a very arrogant, yet beautiful girlfriend. Jenny have been crushing on Freddie ever since he first moved to the school. They grew closer after Freddie and his dad moved in next door to Jenny's house. In this story, they experience the true meaning of friendship and love.
