The next day, I stayed home. Since Mandy's dad came home, she couldn't go out or anything until she clean the entire house. I offered to help out but her dad gave me that soldier stare which made me silent the entire time I was there. I wondered how pissed off she must feel. Clingy mom wasn't home so I stayed alone. Dad has gone out on a business trip, again. He was never home that much anyway and my older brother, Jack stayed over at his friend's house. The cartoon music blared from the TV screen as I was in the kitchen making a cup of tea. The clock on the wall showed that it was 6.00 p.m and the sun was still baking outside. I realised that my phone had been broken from the other day and my mom couldn't be bothered to go to a shop and fix it. I poured the hot, boiling water into my cup and the steam hissed. I stirred it, took a sip and walked back to the living room. I put the tea down on the coffee table in front of me, put my legs up and just chilled.
"This is so goddamn boring." I moaned as I clicked on the remote and changed the channel. I twist my head around to look at the time, 6.01. I sighed boringly and closed the television. I wore a plain white tank top and green shorts; my hair was messy and I looked pale without any mascara or coal eyeliner. I took another sip of my hot tea and went upstairs to my bedroom. I entered my bedroom and found a guy with black hair and a lip piercing sitting on my bed. Startled, I screamed angrily, "What the fuck are you doing here? How the fuck did you get in? Fuck, you fucking scared me! Shithead." The boy sniggered, turned his head around and pointed to the windows suggesting that's how he got in. I put the hot liquid on my study desk and walked over towards him, angrily but with a smirk on my pale face. He rolled over to the other side of the bed as I came near him, ready to give him a big slap on the face. "Adam you fucker!" I yelled out almost stifled with laughter. He grinned and laughed. He was on the other side of the bed and I was on the other side trying to chase him; we were like little kids playing tag.
"Come catch me if you can kiddo." Adam teased and stuck his tongue out at me. My eyes twitched, my pale cheeks redden with anger. He smirked and raised his eyebrows not running anymore but instead coming towards me. I tried to slap his face but he held my arms smiled.
"Damn dude, let me go." I said shaking off of his grip. He shook his head and his black hair fell, covered his eyes. Slowly, he let me go and pushed his hair back. He turned around and sighed deeply. He sat on my bed, not giving me eye contact. This was weird I thought. First, he was all happy and energetic and the next second, he's all quite and sensitive. I walked towards him and knelt, tilting my head to the side. I know better than to ask what's wrong. I held his hand firmly. His eyes were away from mine but I could feel his hand tighten and I sat beside him and placed my head on his shoulder. I could feel his head on mine and we just sat there in silence. Then, Adam broke the silence,
"Jade." His voice so smooth and soft but deep, he almost sound like a little boy.
"Hmm?" was all I replied.
I could feel my head light again so I look up to see his face. He smiled and leaned in, trying to kiss me. My eyes shut tightly and the next thing I know, his soft lips touched mine. Adam cupped my face in his big hands pulling me towards him and we kissed, long and hard. I held his hand as we kissed. The majestic sun slowly set down and I ran my fingers through his hair as the kissing grew more serious. "I love you," Adam breathed, his lips never leave mine as he speak. He snuck his tongue inside my mouth, and this time, I pulled his face eager, wanting more of this sweet kiss.

If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
