"Y'know, you can't just come in my house, without invitation might I add and just started asking me help you. I've got my own shit to handle," I said with a cigarette in my mouth. I lit it up, sucked on it and exhaled. We were outside sitting on the front porch. I offered him a cigarette but he rejected it. Max didn't like to smoke. "What do you want Max?" I said with a hint of annoyance. He said nothing. Max wasn't like other guys, he didn't like to smoke, he doesn't like sex, or the idea of it and he doesn't do drugs. Silence.
He was sitting next to me but it was like he wasn't there. I looked at him and sucked the cigarette and attempted to made little hoops but failed. He was just sitting there, staring into space like a statue. I nudged him, "Dude," I said, "What do you want? Why are you here?"
"I- I need to talk to you," he muttered under his breath. I sighed and pat his back, tutting.
"Dude, I know that. What about?" I said, sounded even more annoyed that before. He smirked, if I didn't know any better, he was enjoying this. I groaned and stood up, putting my hands on my waist with a cigarette on one hand. The smoke hissed and float in the open air like a ghost.
"It's about Mandy," he said finally. I scoffed and and threw the cigarette away even though I didn't finished it. He relaxed his shoulders and breathe slowly.
"What about her? Dude look, if you want to be her boyfriend, just ask her. Like I said, I got my own shit to handle," I responded quite rudely.
"Own shit like the fact that your mom hates you being friends with her and your beloved Adam?" he said in a matter of fact voice. I was stunned, my eyes were wide and my mouth slightly dropped.
"What?" I piped out the courage to asked him more, "Whaddaya mean?"
He scoffed, and walked down two stairs and it creaked. Max went and waved his hand from behind, "Thanks," he shouted and disappeared in the empty streets.
"What the fuck just happened?" I asked myself, confused with the situation. I shook my head in disbelieve and sauntered back in my house. "What an idiot, who does he think he is?" I muttered angrily. With a sigh, I went upstairs to check on my phone. Two miss call: Adam . Oh shit, I thought.
Quickly, I tapped on his name and wait for him to pick up his phone. "Hello?" he answered. His voice were husky and sexy. I bit my lip,
"Hey. What's up? Why'd you call?"
"So, I'm not allowed to call my girlfriend now?" he teased.
"Girlfriend?" I asked, my stomach filled with happiness but I attempt not to sound excited although I was squealing with joy inside.
"Yes baby, you are mine," he responded. I could almost feel his presence with me, even though he wasn't. I stretched out a smile wide enough it almost reached my ears.
"Well, am I now?" I said mockingly. I lay on my bed and twist my hair around my fingers. I could just lay there and listen to his voice all day. Adam chuckled slowly,
"Walk over to your window," he said. I sat up in surprise and grinned, my heart filled with excitement and I jumped out of bed and looked over the window. A boy wearing a yellow t-shirt fitted his body perfectly; his dark hair slightly covered his face, waving and smiling lovingly at me.
I ran downstairs and opened the door. His arms were opened and I flew in and he spun me around. He kissed me passionately, hungered for my lips. Our body pressed against each other, my heart pounding in my chest, my lips moved against his furiously. Adam smiled in our kissed and he ran his hand through my hair.
