Reality, Fate & Destiny- Part 18

#18

Mandy hummed the song she was listening to on her iPod and I sat there, as still as a statue. Faint voices sang a melody through the earphones. I put my head on my knee and thought about what Mandy just said. She's right. I am being too dramatic about this, he said that he likes me, so I'm sure he does. Then why was he flirting with Sierra? Or maybe she flirt with him. Argh! This is so confusing.

"What are you listening to?" I snapped back into the real world. Mandy didn't respond and she nod her head up and down to the beat. I shook her shoulder and she took the earphones out,

"What?"

"What song are you listening to?" I repeat.

"That's What You Get."

"Oh cool, I'ma run downstairs. My stomach's grumbling." I said getting up from the bed. She nodded lightly and I sauntered out of the room, down the stairs and into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and search for something to eat. I took out a bowl of mac and cheese and a glass of orange juice. Lazily, I walked to the microwave and placed the food inside it and heat it up for 2 minutes. While I waited, I studied her victorian-style kitchen. The brown wooden cabinets placed just above the kitchen stove. The wall, was kind of like a brick wall and a bird clock taped to the brick wall. A chandlier hanging above the white plaster ceiling and her rectangular shaped table with 6 seatings place right in the middle of the kitchen. The microwave dinged and as I opened the electrical appliance, steam hissed out of it and the smell of melted cheese travelled in my breathing hole. My stomach grumbled even more, waiting for me to fill it with food. "Yum!" I said shoving my face with the hot, melted mac and cheese.

Mandy peered her head in the kitchen and sniffed hungrily. I laughed and pushed the other bowl of mac and cheese and offered it to her. She grinned and jumped into the empty chair next to me and held the fork in her hand, took a bite, chewed it, and swallowed. I shook my head jokingly looking at how a messy eater she was. We both laughed and enjoyed our brunch together. We talked about random stuff, sex, parties.

"Do you think it's possible for someone not getting horny if they watch porn?" Mandy asked curiosly. I raised my eyebrows disgustingly and laughed. "No. Really, is it?" she continued wanting an answer from me. I shrugged and just continue eating my food. As she chomped her food like a dinosaur chomped on leaves, she stare at the ceiling looking for an answer to her question. The doorbell rang suddenly and we both briefly looked at each other and gulped the food that was in our mouth.
